It began in Kinshasa.
One summer. A young boy. A different view of what was possible.
Long before MMFSC existed, Leon Majondo-Mwamba spent summers in the Democratic Republic of Congo. What he saw there shaped an idea he would carry into adulthood.
Discover the Story
A different starting point.
Leon grew up in America, with close ties to his family's roots in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
His father came from Congo and went on to play professional football in the United States.
During summers in Kinshasa, Leon played basketball and football with boys his own age. He recognized the same ability, competitiveness and ambition he knew back home.
But he could also see how much a young person's opportunities depended on where they began. That experience stayed with him.
The Realization
The conditions were different. The talent wasn't.
A moment with Dikembe Mutombo.
During his time in Kinshasa, Leon had the opportunity to spend time with Dikembe Mutombo, one of basketball's most recognized African figures.
Mutombo's famous finger wag was unforgettable. So was seeing an African athlete whose talent had reached the world stage.
It added another layer to something Leon had already begun to understand: with development, guidance and opportunity, a young person's future can expand far beyond what first seems possible.

Owner · Founder & CEO
A childhood experience became the starting point for a larger ambition.
Leon founded MMF Sports & Creatives to connect promising athletes and creators with experienced people across sports, entertainment, finance and international business.
The aim is to help talent develop, prepare and build relationships that can lead to meaningful opportunities.
It is a vision shaped by the young people he met years ago, and by the belief that their potential deserves a wider path forward.
Meet the People Behind MMFSCA wider road to opportunity.
MMFSC's approach is guided by three connected priorities that help translate potential into progress.
Discover
Recognize promising athletes and creators whose ability deserves attention.
Develop
Explore the preparation, experience and guidance needed to grow that ability.
Connect
Build relationships with people, programs and institutions that can help create new possibilities.
From Kinshasa to conversations across borders.
Today, Leon continues to explore relationships and opportunities connected to African talent and development.
Relationships begin with conversations.
Leon's meeting with Her Excellency Ana Dias Lourenço, First Lady of Angola, reflects his efforts to explore connections related to sports development and opportunity in Africa.
The work remains rooted in the experience that began in Kinshasa: a belief in the ability of young people and the importance of opening paths for them.
Talent begins somewhere. Possibility should follow.
